Many people say Singapore weather is so hot and sunny, there is no need for dryer! In actual fact, ask any housewife or working class person, and they will say they wish they had a dryer at home! Don’t take my word for it. Witness it yourself: The DIY laundromat business is booming in Singapore! They are everywhere now, each branch bigger and better! The customers are housewives and the working crowd!!! When I was a student studying in Melbourne, I envied a friend who co-habited with her Aussie boyfriend. I loved how they air-dried their clothes on the rack, and then pop it into the dryer at night. Crisp and clean clothes is good feng shui! Don’t wear dank ‘doggie-smelling’ clothes, and if you don’t have a dryer at home, make an effort to walk to the nearby laundromat and use their dryer. I know people who leave their bedsheets air-drying in the living room for days!!! 😱 Don’t do that!
