There are some things in life that you cannot control. Accept this fact. The neighbour on my left (they are my only adjoining neighbour) put their shoes outside. It was alright when they only had their 3 daughters, but now their daughters have grown, and their boyfriends literally stay with them. So a family of 8 grown people. I don’t know about you but I myself have 10 pairs of shoes. So if we assume:
1 mother = 10 pairs of shoes
3 daughters = 30 pairs of shoes
1 father = 2 pairs of shoes
3 boyfriends = 6 pairs of shoes
Total = 48 pairs of shoes!
As you can see, there is plenty of storage on both sides in the cupboards and shelves lining their walls. But what I cannot understand is how they can wear their socks a second time – in this hot and humid Singapore weather! But as I said, what can I do? How can I prove that the foul smell comes from their socks and shoes? Fat hope of proving that. The mother used to hang air fresheners on their door too, but then she found a job and got too busy. But I don’t want to smell stink. So I put an airwick air freshener machine outside my door, and I also put a air freshener on the cupboard just inside my door. I don’t fancy artificial lavender smells, but it sure beats smelling pong!
你人生在改变，你邻居的人生也不例外。我只有一个隔墙邻居，他们本来一家四口，不过三个女儿长大了开始交男朋友。男友经常在他们家过夜，算是住进来了吧！如果我们按照统计:
妈妈拥有的鞋子： 十双
三个女儿拥有的鞋子: 三十双
爸爸拥有的鞋子： 两双
三个男朋友拥有的鞋子： 六双
他们这家人一共拥有的鞋子： 四十八双！
没问题啦。他们走廊有两排鞋子厨和鞋子架，够他们放。不过我身为他们邻居可惨了。这么多鞋子离我门口不到三米，再加上他们的袜子是重复穿的-天啊！新加坡这种天气为什么会有人重穿袜子！！！- 一个子： 臭！！！
我能真么样？向他们反馈？向建屋局投诉？不然跟邻居吵架？会赢吗？我怎么证明臭味是他们鞋子发出来的?就算我提醒他们“你老婆还没有回返社会做工之前，她自己也有在你们门口挂香香的，可见她也觉得臭”。说真的，很难证明的啦！要不然要我把我家门和窗口关上，永远不让我家空气流通？所以我选择第二最可行的办法，就是买两台喷香香的，一个放我门口外，一个放我门口内。这是没有办法中的办法呀！就任命秀臭味不是我的作风。记得”我们应该做点什么呀！“
