My answer to where you can put your fish tank is that it depends on the size of your fish tank, and what sort of furniture you have in the room.

In my flat, the living room happens to be located in the North, which is a great sector for putting a fish tank! Hooray! 💃 Over the years, there has been many transformations of my living room, and so too, in the type of fish tank that I put in the living room. The thing is: I can’t put the fish tank on the floor, because I have a free-roaming rabbit who loves to chew electrical wires and anything plastic or silicon. LOL! ‘Rascal’ 🐇. So where I put the fish tank really depended on whether there was a table top or a cupboard top, where I could put the fish tank on! In the beginning, I put a water fountain on a 4-tier wooden corner rack, and when the fountain pump spoiled, I chucked the whole thing out because the fountain ‘structure’ got too slimy! You know how fountains are!!! I then bought a L48cm (length) by B21cm (breadth) by H22cm (height) fish tank, and I put it on the Ikea cupboard bench that acted as a display cupboard in my living room. As the Ikea cupboard was made of wood, I did not dare to put a larger fish tank, for fear that the wood cupboard could not support the weight of the tank plus water. Did I buy the fish tank first, or did I buy the Ikea cupboard first? I forget, but I bought one to match the other. Later, as I began to have more time on my hands (see? Feng Shui works!), I reshuffled the furniture again, and this time, I paid for a customized 4-legged iron rack for my new L60cm by B30cm by H46cm glass fish tank. I have plans to install a full-height flowing water wall of Buddha, that I saw selling in a landscape supplies shop in IMM (a popular shopping complex located in the west side of Singapore), and I will buy that when I next renovate my home (when the mood to renovate strikes me! 😂 )
The Feng Shui ‘lessons’ are:
(1) it is not true that if you shift your fish tank around, you will experience bad luck. But what is true, in my case, is that my fish tank is placed in the North (which is the living room) of my home. I may shift the fish tank around, but it remains in the North (the living room)! And my fish tank is not a gigantic fish tank or a massive fish tank. In my blog ____, I advised you not to buy those!
(2) the water fountain, the L48cm glass fish tank and the L60cm fish tank did not just happen. It was never an impulse buy for any of them. You see, in my mind, I always have plans to maybe throw out that very old sofa when I had saved enough money, or perhaps I’ll buy a glass coffee table because it is more modern-looking than my wooden one. I sometimes manage to free up more space (or end up with less space 😅) buying those new pieces of furniture, and so my fish tank size changes according to what furniture I had bought.
(3) I will never carry ALL my 6 fish tanks and put them together in any particular corner of my home. Not concentrated in the South-East, North or East. All my fish tanks are spread out all over my home (but they are not in the kitchen or in my sleeping bedrooms).
(4) I talk to my husband everyday. Without fail. This is important because I need to know how his work day went, after I shifted the fish tank, or after I moved the sofa to the other corner. If his day passed as per normal, then I will leave the new furniture arrangements as it is. If something out-of-the-ordinary happened, I will judge whether it has a good or bad impact, and I will either leave the new furniture, or I will shift it back to the original position asap. Sometimes out-of-the-ordinary is not necessarily bad, as I will tell you in another blog______.
(5) Sometimes I tell my husband that I have shifted the furniture around, sometimes I don’t. I don’t tell him everything! LOL! Read my thoughts about a woman’s ‘showhand’ in ________. You know, I can buy a new coffee table, and my hubby won’t even notice it. Men and women are really programmed differently. He only ‘sees’ it when the credit card bill arrives. ROFL!!! Hahahahahaha!!! Too funny!!! 😂😂😂

（1）如果你家已经有鱼缸， 有一天如果你想换鱼缸位置，你不会遭遇厄运。很多人听这个人说， 听那个人说， 搞到连换鱼缸的位置也不敢。 即使他们现在人生过的不如意， 他们还是‘没有根据的原因’不敢移鱼缸， 情愿继续过不好的生活！ 这有‘逻辑’吗？🤔 但是，移鱼缸位置要服从几个指南点：
（i）比如说在我家的房子布局， 我的鱼缸放在我家的北部（客厅）。我可能会移动鱼缸，但它仍然在我家内的北部（还是在客厅里）！正如我——————博客劝告， 我永远不会买一个巨大的鱼缸！
（ii）喷泉，长四十八公分的玻璃鱼缸和长六十公分的鱼缸不是一夜就买齐的。我头脑里总是有计划想把那张看起来很旧的沙发扔掉， 或者， 我想有一天我会买一张玻璃咖啡桌取代我现在的木卓。 有时我买对， 我就能在客厅里腾出更多的空间。 买错了没办法客厅的空间变小了。 哎哟！因此， 我的鱼缸尺寸会根据我购买的家具而改变。
（iii）我永远不会把我家里的六个鱼缸全部放在我家的任何角落， 我不管东南，北方或东方。我的鱼缸放我家的‘四面八方’ （除了在厨房或我睡觉的卧室里）。
（iv）我和我先生的感情这么好， 是应为我每天一定会陪他聊天。我研究风水， 这‘聊天’很重要，因为我需要知道他的工作日如何。 有时我移动鱼缸，或者我将沙发移到另一个角落之后， 先生的日子是否按照正常？ 如果他跟我说发生了一些不寻常的事情，我会自己判断是好是坏。 根据我的判断， 我会把家私留着，要不然我会尽快把它移回原来的位置。说到这点， 有时候，不寻常的东西不一定是坏的，下次会在另一个博客——————告诉你。
