This $488 wealth vase. When the store owner marketed it to me, she told me a chunk of stories about how her other customers made it rich, simply by displaying the wealth vase in their home. It was easy to believe her, because the wealth vase was truly well-made, and it came in an elegant hard box, along with an authenticity certificate, a CD and a case-bound product book. Of course the energy was good at this stage, because the store owner wanted me to buy it from her, so she was entertaining and constantly smiling and singing praises of the wealth vase. I wanted to use the wealth vase to get rich quickly, so my energy was one of hope.

After purchase, I did think it costs a bomb, but because my hope of striking it rich was stronger, I prayed that I would recover the cost of the wealth vase quickly. Alas, the product brochure that was written in Chinese was too hard for me to understand. The first sign of energy change came after I went back to the store owner to ask her advice on how to place the wealth vase on the glass plate. She came from China (same nationality as the stall owner of the little bric-brac stall in Teck Whye Lane), but she did not even want (she did not bother) to read the product book that I had brought along. She sort of waved, and she told me that I could put it anywhere. As I asked her in detail, I get the inkling feeling that her Feng Shui knowledge is also very basic. It could be even worse than mine!!! Why? She could not even memorise the element of each sector by heart (North is Water, South is Fire, East is Wood etc). Instead she kept pushing a namecard to me, and she asked me to call the Feng Shui Master for a paid consultation instead. Not only did I feel that she was a very irresponsible seller, but now I question if the wealth vase was really as powerful as she had claimed. If her Feng Shui knowledge was so poor, how would she be able to tell if a product was really effective or not? Would its powers be sufficient to recover the $488 that I had paid for it?! So you see how the energy associated with the wealth vase has changed? I originally placed a very high-class energy with my wealth vase because it looked elegant and because it was marketed with a lot of BIG PROMISES. But now the elegant energy has changed to one of questions instead.

The next few weeks that I spent cracking my head trying to understand the Chinese product brochure became one of anxious energy. I was desperate to maximise the return of my $488 investment, and it was terrible that I could not even figure out how to place the wealth vase on the glass plate. I began to ask myself if God was trying to tell me that I would never be rich, because even the first step was causing such great distress to me. Was it a sign from God that I was destined to remain poor? See how the energy has shifted from one of hope, then to one of question, and now it has even manifested to one concerning my destiny? Was God telling me to give up?!

Life is really hard for me. I was having problems at work, I was having problems at home, and I was having problems in my marriage. To make things worse, I have stupidly splurged on the $488 wealth vase that I would ill-afford, and worse still – God is now sending me a signal through my wealth vase that ‘struggle is futile, you are born to be poor!’, I began to feel desolate and I hated myself for buying the wealth vase! Seeing the box that my wealth vase sits in every day, I hated the store owner who had ripped me off! I hated that my bank balance was close to zero, and I would have to start saving all over again. Stupid me, stupid store owner, AND STUPID WEALTH VASE!!! I SHOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT YOU!!! I HATE YOU, YOU STUPID WEALTH VASE!!!!
生活对我来说真的很难。 我在工作不顺利，我家里有种种问题，我的婚姻是失败的。 现在， 我又愚蠢地挥霍了$488买了这个我承担不起的聚宝盆！ 上帝通过这个聚宝盆想告诉我 ：“你注定就是穷人！”。 我开始感到凄凉，我讨厌自己买这个聚宝盆！看到它每天都放在盒子里，我也讨厌那个骗了我的商店老板娘！ 我讨厌我的银行余额再次接近于零， 我又要从头开始储蓄。 咳！！！ 愚蠢的我，愚蠢的商店老板娘，愚蠢的聚宝盆！ 我不应该买你的！我讨厌你，你这愚蠢的聚宝盆！ 我恨你！！！
Meeting the kind-hearted stall owner was a blessing. More than her kind heart, it was her willingness to sit down with me for more than 2 hours, and her willingness to go through the product book with me page by page… More than her willingness to help me to this extent, it was the fact that she did it all for free! She was not trying to sell me any products, she did not push me to buy anything from her. Because she gave and she gave, and she did not take, my anger and hate… well, it miraculously transformed into gratitude. My hate fizzled out! And of course in the natural cycle of energy, after gratitude always comes hope.
So you see, how it starts all over again when hope arises? I began to feel hopeful that all will be well, and yes! the elegant wealth vase will bring me great wealth! Yay!
