I was lucky when I picked up that book called “Feng Shui Tips”. I remember that the tips were split into their relevant sections: Money, Love, Relationship etc. Which section do you think I went for first? Of course, it was money! You remember I said in _____ that my life sucked real bad then. And the main reason it sucked was because I had no money. The funny thing about Feng Shui, is that you need money to get started. Hello?! Are we missing something here? If I had money for Feng Shui, do I need to activate Feng Shui for money?!!! For example, as we know, there are at least 2 sources of money for ordinary people. The North for career luck, and the South-East for income luck. The energisers for these sectors include:

我真的很幸运！ 第一本风水书， 我应为真的看不懂， 就马上跑图书馆一趟， 借了那本让我改变命运的， 名为“风水贴士”的书！ 我记得那本书， 提示分成了相关的部分：金钱，爱情，人际关系等。读者们， 你们猜一猜我首先选择了哪一部分的提示阅读呢？当然，是钱！你记得我在_____说过我那段日子生活真的很苦。 没有钱真的很惨！ 关于风水，有趣的是： 我需要钱才能开始练风水。这符合‘逻辑’吗？！就是应为我没有钱， 才需要启动风水来赚钱呀！据我们所知，普通人大多数有两种资金来源： （一）事业风水的北方， 和（二） 收入流的东南方。激励这两个角落的风水包括：

So you see, my dear reader, there is clearly no such thing as ‘no need to do anything’. Even if someone sponsored the Feng Shui energiser, I would still need to identify the sector with a compass and go install the energiser there. Repeat after me: There is no such thing as ‘no need to do anything’! But lucky for me, I had 3 lucky things going on during that period of my life. But let me digress a little. Do you know why I was lucky then? It was not because I was born lucky, neither was it in my ba-zi to be lucky. The reason was because ______________. My first lucky came from selecting a book that also included other tips which did not require me to spend money. I’ll give you a very good example: Decluttering! This concept is not strictly restricted to Feng Shui. Psychologists and therapists sing the benefits of decluttering your cupboards (and in your life!). Decluttering is free!!! My second lucky was because my marriage was as good as over (so I could not indulge in ‘being in love’), and no white knight was coming to save me (so I did not have to indulge in ‘someone will come and save me’), and my supervisor at work disliked me (so I knew there was no point hoping for that elusive promotion). See? Bad things that happen can be good too. I knew that I only had myself, so I flipped the pages of “Feng Shui Tips”, and I read and applied those tips that did not require me to spend money.
But my third lucky (and this was the most important lucky), was that the no-need-to-spend-money tips printed in that book, thank goodness they worked! Whew! I was really damn lucky that they worked! If I had tried the no-need-to-spend-money tips, and they did not work, it would have been “bye bye, Feng Shui, bye bye” forever!

在那一段时期，我有三件幸运：我的第一个幸运来自我选择了正确的‘风水提示’那本书，幸好那本书其中包括了其他不需要我花钱的提示。我给你一个很好的例子：收拾家里的杂乱！这个概念并不严格限于风水。心理学家和治疗师也时常建议我们把橱柜的杂乱（和生活种的杂乱！）收拾好。 把不好的丢掉！！！ 收拾杂乱是免费的！你今天就可以开始！ 我的第二个幸运是我的婚姻已经没有得救了（所以我不沉迷于’恋爱’）， 还有没有白人骑士来拯救我（所以我不沉迷于’有人会来拯救我’），还有我在工作上的上司不喜欢我（所以我知道没有必要希望盼望可以提升）。你看？发生坏事也可能是好的。我认清了： 我只有自己！ 。
我的第三个幸运（也是我认为是最重要的幸运）是： 那些无需花钱的提示，我试了， 真的有效！ 谢天谢地！你想， 如果当时我尝试过那些无需花钱的提示，如果没有效果，那我真的会说： “再见，风水，再见”！永别了！风水是骗人的！！！
